Standard

This site is built against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as a build requirement rather than a later audit.

What is implemented

• Semantic landmarks, a skip-to-content link, and a single H1 per page.
• Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus ring on every interactive element.
• Body text meeting AA contrast against the dark ground; interface labels are not conveyed by color alone.
• The 3D column is decorative and hidden from assistive technology; nothing on the site depends on it to be understood.
• prefers-reduced-motion is honored throughout: scroll animation, the camera travel, particle motion and page transitions all collapse to static states.
• Where WebGL is unavailable, the homepage degrades to a still composition rather than an empty frame.
• Live regions announce result counts as filters change on the Publications page.
• Form fields carry persistent visible labels, not placeholder-only labeling.

Known limitations
